A Therapeutic Backyard Transformation on Tree Swallow Court
Sometimes, a pool is more than just a luxury—it’s a lifeline. When a homeowner on Tree Swallow Court in Magnolia came to Hummingbird Pools, he was looking for a solution that could aid in his rehabilitation after undergoing swim-related surgery. His goal was clear: a functional, therapeutic space to help him swim in place and recover in comfort.
The Challenge
This wasn’t a large property, and working with limited yard space was a key challenge. We needed to design a pool that could meet his unique therapeutic needs while also fitting neatly into a compact footprint—without sacrificing style or flow.
Our Solution
We carefully crafted a custom pool that included a Badu swim jet system, allowing the homeowner to swim in place for rehabilitation. Despite the spatial constraints, we were able to fit a 20’x13’ swimming lane pool, along with a 10’x10’ spa and tanning ledge—offering both functionality and relaxation in one seamless design. We also added a custom outdoor kitchen, further elevating the space for everyday use and enjoyment.
The Result
The result is a compact but powerful backyard design that delivers exactly what the homeowner needed—a daily-use, therapeutic pool that supports his recovery while also providing a relaxing outdoor retreat. He uses the pool every day and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.
