Building Before the House: A Hillside Infinity Pool on Pine Branch Drive
At Hummingbird Pools, we pride ourselves on being problem solvers—and this project on Pine Branch Drive in Montgomery was a unique opportunity to prove it. Referred to us by another pool company, the client needed a stunning pool design that could be installed before their new home was even built. Why? Because once construction started, there would be no access left to get it done.
The Challenge
The property sits on a steep hill, requiring engineered precision to ensure proper elevation and support. Additionally, the timeline was critical—we had to build the pool before the home construction began, which meant tight coordination, strategic planning, and expert execution.
Our Solution
We designed a show-stopping pool that would not only complement the future home, but elevate the entire property. The centerpiece is a 6-foot infinity edge wall, creating a luxurious, resort-style look and feel. We finished the pool with travertine coping and patio, glass tile, and low-voltage lighting for ambiance and efficiency. Every element of the project was fully automated to offer modern convenience and easy control.
The Result
By the time the house was ready to rise, the pool was already in place—perfectly engineered and built to impress. The homeowners now have a sleek, elevated oasis that blends beautifully into the hillside landscape and will soon serve as the crown jewel of their new property.
